The latest Bears Banter Podcast has dropped!
The Chicago Bears sit at 4-3 after dropping a rough one to the Tyler Huntley-led Baltimore Ravens. To talk about where the Bears are at seven games into Ben Johnson’s tenure, we sat down with Marc Silverman! Yes, Silvy of ESPN 1000’s Waddle and Silvy stopped by the podcast and talked about a variety of topics from the defense, to Caleb Williams, to potential issues in the locker room.
But Silvy had some strong words about Ryan Poles and his roster construction (and I didn’t even bring it up!) and how that might be an issue with this team moving forward.
“This goes back to our whole Ryan Poles issue and that I don’t believe in him,” Silvy explained. “I don’t think that the roster is a great roster and maybe not even a good roster. I think it’s a decent roster. A lot of work needs to be done to it, that’s for sure.” Silvy continued, “Who are the Ben Johnson players? Who are the DA players that they liked coaching and that they didn’t like coaching… the biggest picture is if Ryan Poles can fix the messes he created.”
It’s a great conversation with Silvy, like it always is.
