Silver Minings: Raiders getting good value on offense

The 2025 Las Vegas Raiders’ offense has a lot of potential and it has some nice pieces for the future.

One of underlying bright spots is that the unit is reasonably priced. According to Spotrac, the Raiders have the fourth most inexpensive offensive unit in the 2025 NFL season.

It makes since because many starters are either on their rookie deals or they are not high-priced players. Even quarterback Geno Smith, who is making about $37 million this season, is fairly priced in terms of the current starting quarterback market.

There is reason to believe Chip Kelly’s unit could stay fairly priced even when stars like tight end Brock Bowers and running back Ashton Jeanty are in line for new contracts in the future, because then Las Vegas may have a quarterback playing on his rookie deal.

So, things are set financially for the long term on that side of the ball.
