Silver Minings: Raiders are favorites to land QB Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is a betting favorite to become the next quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders’ biggest need this offseason is the quarterback position. Whether it is in the draft or free agency, this spot needs to be addressed for the team to be successful in 2025.

Free agency will be the first opportunity for the Raiders to find their signal caller. They have been connected to Sam Darnold, but the other option is a future Hall of Famer. Aaron Rodgers is about to hit the market after he and the New York Jets parted ways. He will be free to sign with any NFL team, and one of them could be the Silver and Black.

Las Vegas Review-Journal checked the betting odds for Rodgers’s move to Las Vegas. He is co-favorites with the Pittsburgh Steelers to join the Raiders.

The Raiders are one of the front-runners to sign Aaron Rodgers after the Jets recently announced their intention to release the four-time NFL MVP quarterback.

DraftKings sportsbook, which doesn’t operate in Nevada, posted odds on Rodgers’ next team, and the Raiders, Rams, and Steelers are listed as 3-1 co-favorites.

Rodgers is coming off a disappointing season with the Jets but still put up better numbers than Raiders quarterbacks. He would be an upgrade, but that would not stop the Raiders from adding a signal caller in the draft. His price will be the topic of discussion, and his age will play a factor.
