Raiders’ star pass-rusher is a betting favorite to win award
Maxx Crosby is expected to be fully healthy to start the 2025 NFL season and he will be newly minted with a huge new contract.
The Las Vegas Raiders and their fan base are expecting a monster season from Crosby in his seventh NFL season as the franchise begins the Pete Carroll era.
The betting market is also foreseeing big things from Crosby, who ended last season by being on the injured reserve for the first time in his career with an ankle injury, in 2025.
According to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook, Crosby is among the early betting favorites to win the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award this season. Crosby is priced at 10-1 to win the award, which would be the first of his career.
Crosby’s odds are the fifth lowest (best) odds to win the award. He is priced behind four other pass-rushers, Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns (7-1), Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys (+750) and Aidan Hutchinson of Detroit Lions and T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers (9-1).
While he is a favorite, Crosby is also getting nice value and is worth backing if sports betting is your thing.
