We all know the Las Vegas Raiders’ recent history of spotty drafting.

It’s not been rough and it has an affect on this year’s roster. According to the Associated Press, the Raiders have the fifth lowest percentage of their in 53-man roster from the past four draft classes.

It’s difficult to build a sustained winner by not building through the draft.

However, there may be some hope. The Raiders kept nine of their 11 draft picks from this year’s draft class on the initial 53-man roster first-year genera manager John Spytek. Spytek, of course, came to Las Vegas from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are tied for the sixth highest percentage in the same time period at 63.3 percent.

So, maybe the tide is turning.
