There were questions about Jakobi Meyers after he took over as the Las Vegas Raiders’ No. 1 wide receiver last October after Davante Adams was traded to the New York Jets.
It was fair. Meyers was never considering more than an average No. 2 receiving option. Yet, by the end of the 2024 season, the questions about Meyers’ ability to produce dissipated.
Check out this recent nugget from Pro Football Network. Yes, Meyers was elite down the stretch. That’s some special company.
Meyers produced, at least, 97 yards receiving in three of his Raiders’ final sevens games last season. That consistent production. Couple that with the fact that he didn’t have any drops last season, there is no reason to doubt that Meyers can be a big part of Las Vegas’ passing attack again in 2025 despite his recent trade request. And these stats show why there is. indeed, trade interest in Meyers around the league
