Raider Nation expressed joy with pick of star running back
Exactly a week ago, Ashton Jeanty became a member of the Las Vegas Raiders and the Raider Nation rejoiced.
And they’re still celebrating the pick of the highly rated Boise State running back with the No No. 6 overall draft pick. And Raiders fans were fired up.
In a study by The Sports Geek, which did a social-media study on draft night, the reaction of Raiders fans was the fifth most positive in the league after their first-round pick.
The New York Giants, who took Penn State pass-rusher Abdul Carter at No. 3 and then traded back into the first-round to select Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart, had the happiest fan base on social media according to the report.
We know it’s not always an easy task to make Raiders fans happy, but the Jeanty pick did the trick. I imagine the joy will only increase w=once Jeanty hits the field for the Silver and Black.
