The Las Vegas Raiders had a huge scare last week when a punt was blocked. The Indianapolis Colts were able to break through, and in the aftermath, the Raiders’ Pro Bowl punter AJ Cole left the game and did not return.
Cole was able to practice in full on Friday, but was listed as questionable on the final injury report. There was a chance he could end up missing the game Sunday vs the Tennessee Titans. With no call up to recently signed punter Brad Robbins, it appears that AJ Cole will be ready for Sunday Afternoon.
While the Raiders will attempt to avoid punting the football, Cole has been the special teams ace for the Raiders. He is a two-time All-Pro selection and three-time Pro Bowler, keeping the legacy of great punters with the franchise. If the Raiders’ offense does stall, he has helped flip the field consistently during his career.
