Week 2 was a major opportunity for the Las Vegas Raiders as they began their home-season schedule at 1-0 in the Pete Carroll era.

It was a full house filled with mostly Raiders fans (which isn’t always the case) and the Silver and Black had a chance to set the tone. But, in the end, the Raiders’ issues at Allegiant Stadium continued as they were easily dispatched by AFC West foe, the Los Angeles Chargers by a score of 20-9.

The loss continued a rough trend for the Raiders since Allegiant Stadium opened in 2020. According to The Associated Press, the Raiders have the second worst winning percentage of any team at their own stadium at .442. The Browns have the worst winning percentage at home at .412.

They have a chance to improve on that winning percentage in Week 4 when they host the Chicago Bears.

Carroll must change this trend. No team can truly become a consistent winner while struggling at home.
