The New Orleans Saints’ unusually high morale despite a 2-10 record at one point in the season was partially due to veteran leadership from players like tight end Foster Moreau, an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
The 28-year-old had a down year after returning in Week 5 from a knee injury suffered in the 2024 season finale, hauling in just seven receptions on 10 targets for 59 yards and zero touchdowns in 11 games—all career lows.
That said, his voice was crucial in the locker room. Head coach Kellen Moore repeatedly credited Moreau throughout the season, calling him “one of the all-time bests.” With an entire offseason free from recovery, a bounce-back season for Moreau would not be surprising.
At this point in his career, as a New Orleans native and former LSU Tiger, re-signing Moreau to a team-friendly deal shouldn’t be too difficult. Do you think the Saints should bring him back?
