When the Bills let Gabe Davis explore his options in free agency, Buffalo’s fan base was divided over the impact Davis’ loss would have on the offense. It turns out, Davis endured a disappointing 2024 season, catching only 20 passes for 239 yards and two touchdowns before suffering a season-ending meniscus tear.

In his four seasons with the Bills, Davis scored 27 touchdowns and averaged 16.7 yards per catch. His most memorable performance was a four-touchdown game against the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2021 AFC Divisional Round. Davis is an above-average blocking wide receiver who was known for both making highlight-reel grabs along the sidelines... and also dropping his fair share of passes.

Brandon Beane expects RB James Cook to play

Pro Bowl running back James Cook has made it known he wants a new contract, and didn’t participate in the team’s voluntary workouts. General manager Brandon Beane isn’t worried about Cook’s availability, saying “I have no doubt when it’s time to play football, he’ll be ready to roll.”
