The long stalemate between the Cincinnati Bengals and star pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson has heated up in the past 24 hours as the team is now reportedly open to trading the sack leader.
Reportedly, the Bengals are looking for a young defensive player and a 2026 first-round pick for Hendrickson.
Any team that trades for Hendrickson will need give him a new contract, which won’t be cheap. But Hendrickson is a star. He’s had 17.5 sacks in each of the past two seasons.
Hendrickson would be a great pairing with star pass-rusher Maxx Crosby and give the Las Vegas defense a much-needed identity. The Raiders have the resources to give Hendrickson a rich new deal as well.
Among the players they could offer Cincinnati include pass-rushers Malcolm Koonce and Tyree Wilson or perhaps safety Isaiah Pola-Mao or linebacker Tommy Eichenberg.
Do you think the Raiders should pursue a Hendrickson trade or do you think the overall cost wouldn’t be worth it?
