Everything has gone downhill since Chiefsaholic went to prison.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ superfan was sentenced to 32 years in prison. This was after he pleaded guilty to a 2022 bank robbery. The FBI caught Xaviar Babudar in California in July 2023. He was accused of a string of previously unsolved robberies. Those incidents happened throughout the Midwest and in Tennessee.
Babudar admitted to a string of armed robberies across multiple states to fund his attendance at games. Just before the 2024 season, he received a 17-and-a-half-year prison sentence. That was after attempting or pulling off bank robberies in states such as Iowa, Nebraska, Tennessee, Minnesota, and Oklahoma. He admitted to robbing the banks of over $800,000.
That was only the start of things for Chiefsaholic. He received the 32-year prison sentence earlier this year. His sentence will be served concurrently with his 17.5-year federal sentence.
It seems the team needed him more than they thought.
