It seems Shemar Stewart is calling the Bengals bluff.

The Cincinnati Bengals and their first round pick Shemar Stewart have been in disagreement over the language of his rookie contract since the team first started practicing this offseason.

A new wrinkle has been added that may force the Bengals hand. It appears Stewart has been practicing with Texas A&M (his college team from last season).

Bud Elliot from 247 Sports had this to say from the video.

"A guy who has had some good [Texas] A&M stuff in the past, he hit me, he's like, 'Hey, Shemar might end up back here... He has been at College Station. He has been fully involved in workouts. He could try to come back and play again this season and go into the draft again next year."

Even if this is as innocent as him staying in proper football shape for the upcoming 2025 season with Cincinnati, it sure sends a message that won't put a bright spot on the Bengals.

This could very well be a signal of essentially "drop this new language you're trying to add or I'll forgo the season and enter the draft again."

So now with traing camp looming. Will the Bengals call Stewart's bluff
