Shedeur Sanders is confident that he’s better than many starting QBs in the league.
Last week, Shedeur’s dad, Deion, made headlines when he said he believes his son will get a shot to play for the Browns this season, even though he’s currently the third QB on the team’s depth chart.
“I’ve got a prediction, I ain’t telling anybody. I got a feeling when it’s gonna go down, but it’s gonna go down, all right? He’s going to get a shot.”
On Thursday, Sanders told the media that he’s ready to play right now if the Browns put him in a game.

Sanders implied that he’s currently better than some quarterbacks starting in the league right now.
“I know if you see the quarterback play in the league right now, I know I’m capable of doing better than that,”

Fans had mixed reactions to Shedeur’s latest comments.
“Bro what lol — who you think you’re capable of starting over— you think you’re even close to Wentz or Tyrod Taylor?? The backups that played last week.. Tyrod Taylor out performs and outleads you easily/” commented one fan.
“This is the energy the team needs. Hope media lets him. You know, if Dart said this, they would call it moxie,” said another fan.
It’ll be interesting to see if Sanders gets to see the field this soon, considering how much the Browns’ offense has struggled in the first few games.
