Browns QB competition could turn out to be fun or funny

All Cleveland Browns fans care about is whether one of the four quarterbacks competing for the starting job is good enough to win games or not. The rest is just going to be noise, but probably pretty loud noise.

The two rookies have had some very positive things reported about them recently. Dillon Gabriel just signed his contract, leaving Shedeur Sanders as the Browns last remaining unsigned rookie. OC Tommy Rees talked about getting the rookie Sanders ready for a pro-style offense as OTAs continued this week.

While the rookies get a lot of attention, veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett seem most likely to start the season for Cleveland. Not only did Flacco lead the Browns to the playoffs two years ago, but he’s old enough to be some of their fathers.

He only missed playing in the NFL with Sanders’ dad, Deion Sanders, by three seasons.

Given the age gap, there is no surprise when Flacco told Sanders that, paraphrasing, he doesn’t dance, in this hilarious OTA moment:

Flacco seemed thrown off by the question to start, but then laughed, seeing his young teammate doing a simple dance.

A Google search for “Joe Flacco dancing” came up mostly empty, except for this video of Desmond King spinning on top of the quarterback after tackling him:

Sanders has reportedly soaked up as much information as he can from Flacco since arriving in Berea, but it doesn’t look like the veteran is interested in learning how to dance from the rookie. We can only hope more hilarity (and good quarterback play) will continue throughout training camp and the season.
