Shedeur Sanders was caught speeding in Ohio this week, being clocked at 101 MPH on Interstate 71. He was travelling more than 40 MPH over the speed limit a little after midnight on Tuesday morning, resulting in a ticket.
According to Ohio law, driving 30 MPH over the limit can result in a four-point offense. Sanders will likely be forced to pay a fine for his recklessness.
Body cam footage shows the moment Sanders was busted. Police pulled his black Dodge Ram TRX over after seeing him traveling way too fast.
Shedeur Sanders is gearing up for his rookie season with the Cleveland Browns. The quarterback, and son of legendary NFL player Deion Sanders, is currently battling for the keys to the offense.
The Browns did not comment on the situation when asked by local media.
In an unexpected turn of events, the quarterback’s wrongdoing resulted in an accidental hard launch of a potential relationship. A second car traveling alongside Sanders was also pulled over for going 92 in the 60 MPH zone.
When approached by police, the woman, Jasmine Hammond, referred to herself as Sanders’ girlfriend.
