Second round interviews are set to begin for Jets head coach and general manager jobs

We near a conclusion...maybe.

The Jets have been conducting interviews with potential head coach and general manager candidates for a couple of weeks. The process is about to begin its next stage.

Notably, Glenn and Newmark worked together within the Lions organization for three years.

It is always difficult to decipher where things stand, but a lot of buzz suggest that Glenn could be the Jets’ top choice. The Saints are also reportedly interested in Glenn, who previously worked with the Saints under Sean Payton.

There’s an old cliche that gets thrown around in situations like this, “Don’t let him leave the building.”

Are the Jets ready to offer Glenn the job if the next interview goes well? Will they negotiate with him to close the deal? Could they look to pair him with Newmark to make the job more attractive? Will they “let him leave the building?”

Stay tuned. We will know tomorrow whether this situation is close to being resolved.
