Field Gulls
The Seattle Seahawks now have two open roster spots on the 53-man roster.
On Thursday, Seattle waived defensive tackle Quinton Bohanna. This is notable as the Seahawks designated Julian Love, Dareke Young, and Jarran Reed to return to practice ahead of the Week 14 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Seattle also designated rookie defensive tackle, Rylie Mills to return to practice last week.
Once these players are designated to return to practice, they have 21 days to practice with the team before having to either be added to the 53-man roster or be shut down for the rest of the season. So technically none of the four players need to be activated to the 53-man roster this week. However, with two open roster spots, it sure seems like two of them will be. The ones to keep an eye on especially are the two defensive tackles, Jarran Reed and Rylie Mills, or even Dareke Young as an extra receiver/kick returner.
Bohanna started 2025 on the Seahawks practice squad before signing to the active roster in early November. Seattle will surely look to get him back to the practice squad if he clears waivers.
