Seattle Seahawks inactives: Sam Darnold active, 5 rookies scratched vs. 49ers

The game inactives list has been announced for the NFC Divisional Round matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers. By far the best news is quarterback Sam Darnold is available to play despite his mid-week oblique injury. Will he actually start? Most likely, but he was not part of pre-game warm-ups.

Drew Lock and Darnold are the only active QBs for the Seahawks, with rookie Jalen Milroe once again serving as the emergency third quarterback in case both Lock and Darnold are injured. Milroe is among five Seahawks rookies scratched for the night, alongside Bryce Cabeldue, Mason Richman, Rylie Mills, and Jared Ivey. Backup offensive tackle Josh Jones is the only injury-related inactive.
