The Seattle Seahawks have brought in a trio of offensive linemen for workouts on Tuesday.
Listed on the NFL transaction wire were the workouts of offensive linemen Bobby Hart, Shane Lemieux, and Matt Walesko.
Hart has been an NFL journeyman since 2015, playing for seven different teams, recording 67 starts during that time. Lemieux, the Yakima, Washington native, started his career with the New York Giants from 2020-2023 before joining the New Orleans Saints in 2024, when he played for current Seahawks offensive coordinator Klink Kubiak, offensive line coach John Benton, and run game coordinator Rick Dennison. Walesko is in his fourth year in the NFL after playing for the Dallas Cowboys from 2022-2024.
The Seahawks working out three offensive linemen is not a message about how the offensive line played this last Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. It is much more a look at potential depth options for Seattle to add to their practice squad, or perhaps active roster. Keep in mind that Christian Haynes is on IR and the notable backup guards right now are rookies Mason Richman and Bryce Cabeldue. Many workouts like this will happen throughout the season as NFL teams churn through free agents to see if they could be potential upgrades to current team depth. Time will tell if any of these three workouts will turn into any signings.
