The Seattle Seahawks overhauled a good portion of the the skill positions on offense during the offseason.

DK Metcalf was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers, while Geno Smith was shipped to the Las Vegas Raiders, and Tyler Lockett and Noah Fant were released.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ken Walker, Zach Charbonnet and AJ Barner remain, but the rest of the positions groups were overhauled as John Schneider signed Cooper Kupp and Eric Saubert in free agency before drafting Elijah Arroyo, Tory Horton and Ricky White.

Now, the team has published its inactive list for Week 9, and they include three of the five wide receivers on the 53 man roster, which in turn means the Seahawks will look to the youth on the roster when they face off against the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football.

So, the full list of inactives is:

  • QB Jalen Milroe (Emergency 3rd QB)
  • WR Cooper Kupp
  • WR Jake Bobo
  • WR Dareke Young
  • OL Mason Richman
  • DL Jared Ivey
  • CB Derion Kendrick

It’ll be Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cody White, Ricky White, and Tory Horton for Seattle this evening. Only four active receivers due to injuries.
