Field Gulls
The Seattle Seahawks continue to show a clean injury report for Sunday’s Week 15 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.
On the surface, it’s easy to be concerned about 16 players on the injury report, but only rookie tight end Elijah Arroyo did not practice for a second straight day. His knee injury suffered against the Atlanta Falcons will likely keep him out of the Colts game.
The only limited participants were safety Julian Love, whose practices in the short term may be managed a little more tightly due to how much time he missed with a hamstring injury, and tight end Eric Saubert, who could be activated off injured reserve this weekend. Everyone else was a full participant, including Jalen Sundell, whom like Saubert is on IR and needs to be activated in order to play this weekend.
Outside of Arroyo, it looks like there’s little reason to question anyone else’s game status or at least their availability to play on Sunday. Game designations will come out on Friday.
As for the Colts, quarterback Riley Leonard is once again a full participant with that knee injury, although everyone seems to be thinking Philip Rivers will actually start over the Notre Dame rookie. Don’t expect to see Sauce Gardner on the field, as Indy deals with a very depleted cornerback room.
