Seahawks Week 14 injury report: Julian Love, Jarran Reed set for return vs. Falcons

The Week 14 final injury report is about as ideal as you could hope for this deep into the season.

Only Rylie Mills and Dareke Young have been ruled out due to their respective injuries. Mills has been on the non-football injury list all season as he recovers from his ACL tear suffered back in December at Notre Dame. Young has been designated for return to practice but is otherwise still on injured reserve, which means there are no Seahawks on the active roster with an injury designation.

The big news is that defensive tackle Jarran Reed and safety Julian Love, both of whom have spent the past month on IR, have practiced and are ready to play this Sunday. Mike Macdonald didn’t say Love would be on a snap count, but that there was a plan for his return to action. Ty Okada has fared quite well deputizing for Love throughout the season. With two roster spots cleared up already, no one else needs to be let go on Saturday.

On one practice squad note, Quandre Diggs’ return to Seattle has unfortunately taken a slight turn for the worse. Diggs is week-to-week with a thigh injury suffered in one of his handful of snaps against the Minnesota Vikings. With Love coming back and Okada set to play, there’s not that urgency for Diggs to be elevated from the practice squad to begin with.
