First place in the NFC West and the No. 1 seed in the NFC is on the line on a stormy Thursday night at Lumen Field.
The Seattle Seahawks (11-3) and Los Angeles Rams (11-3) share identical records, but the Rams have the edge based on their Week 11 win back in November. It was only a two-point victory for the Rams despite four Sam Darnold interceptions, but it’s the win that currently gives the Rams the inside track on home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs.
Seattle hasn’t lost since the first meeting, whereas the Rams did slip against the Carolina Panthers, upping the stakes for this pivotal showdown. Even winning this game doesn’t put the Seahawks home and dry for the division, as they still need to fend off the 10-4 San Francisco 49ers. This is about as big a game as the Seahawks have hosted at Lumen Field in years, and this is a glorious chance to exact revenge on Matthew Stafford and company.
