Field Gulls
The Seattle Seahawks started off with an early 14-3 hole against the Los Angeles Rams. An early Sam Darnold interception set up the Rams with a short field and a Kyren Williams 4th and goal touchdown. Once again the Seahawks defense was put right back in their own red zone after stopping the opposition on the previous possession. After a Seattle field goal, the Rams gashed the Seahawks on the ground and capped it off with a Matthew Stafford slant to Davante Adams for another TD.
Seattle shut the Rams out in the second quarter with two long field goal drives, but two long field goal drives in the red zone. Consider those missed opportunities to even take the lead, but the Rams only had one possession in that quarter and went three-and-out.
It’s 14-9 Rams at the break and the Seahawks get the ball to start the 2nd half.
Breathe easy.
