The Seattle Seahawks (9-3) are in an epic battle for the NFC West, which means they need to keep winning. Next up for the Seahawks is a trip to Georgia to take on the Atlanta Falcons (4-8), who are on the cusp of playoff elimination and would be bounced with a loss to Seattle at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where they’ve yet to win against the Seahawks.
Seattle is not just a comfortable road favorite, Mike Macdonald’s group now has Julian Love and Jarran Reed back on the defensive side of the ball. This is the healthiest an otherwise elite Seahawks defense has been all year. Seattle’s offense will still have to be mindful of Atlanta’s fearsome pass rush, which actually ranks slightly ahead of Seattle in sacks. Run defense has been an issue for the Falcons, which could be ideal for the Seahawks to get their run game really going.
