It’s time for season three for the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks under head coach Mike Macdonald!

The Seahawks went from being the hunters to the hunted—just look at what the Los Angeles Rams have done this offseason! But nevertheless, the Seahawks are Super Bowl champions until they’re not. Their quest for a repeat begins officially with Week 1 against their Super Bowl 60 opponents, the New England Patriots, on Sept. 9. The ramp-up begins with training camp, which has some extra attention due to HBO’s Hard Knocks crew filming them over the next couple of weeks.

Position battles will be fascinating, particularly how the running back depth shapes out post-Kenneth Walker, likewise for cornerback now that Riq Woolen is gone, and there are talented safeties trying to fill the void left by Coby Bryant. Year two development for Jalen Milroe, Elijah Arroyo, and others will be monitored closely.

As always, Seahawks training camp takes place at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center (VMAC) in Renton. The first training camp practice is on July 25, with one special practice at Lumen Field on August 8. The preseason begins against the Dallas Cowboys on Aug. 15, also at Lumen Field. Fans can attend a total of 10 public practices from opening camp day until the week of the Cowboys game.
