Time for some more granular Seahawks predictions!
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Seattle Seahawks fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
We’ve got a special edition of Seahawks Reacts for you! Only two questions to answer, of which one is a shameless rip-off of something that our Minnesota Vikings friends at Daily Norseman came up with.
Question 1: When will you start getting excited for the 2025 season?
We’re three months out from Week 1 and the Seahawks’ opener against the San Francisco 49ers, and two months out from the preseason debut versus Pete Carroll’s Las Vegas Raiders. There are times of the year where Seahawks football might not be at the forefront of your (sports) lives, but maybe you’re such a huge fan and an optimist that you’re champing at the bit for September to rolled around. Are you already hyped? Need to wait until July for training camp? What about preseason? The last option is when the regular season begins, so choose wisely!
Question 2: Who will be the Seahawks’ leading rusher?
Kenneth Walker III was only narrowly the leading Seahawks rusher for 2024 ahead of Zach Charbonnet, besting his backfield buddy by five yards. Walker obviously missed a lot of time with injuries, whereas Charbonnet appeared in every game and had several deputizing starts in Walker’s absence. Kenny McIntosh finally got some experience in the offense but still doesn’t project as a starting back. Seventh-round pick Damien Martinez figures to be a draft steal and may have a significant role in the offense.
A lot of familiar faces, but who will be Seattle’s top rusher in terms of yardage? The “other” option is presumably Jalen Milroe, George Holani, or some mystery name.
