Another one-year coach for the Seahawks is headed elsewhere.
This is minor news but this is still another coaching staff departure for the Seattle Seahawks.
Chuckie Keeton, who was hired last season as an offensive assistant, has left his role in Seattle to take the same job as part of Mike Vrabel’s first coaching staff with the New England Patriots.
Keeton was a quarterback at Utah State and played on the same team as Seahawks legend Bobby Wagner. As a coach he was exclusively in the college ranks until he was hired by Seattle. Unlike former offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, Keeton’s next job after leaving the Seahawks will still be in the NFL.

Offensive Line coach Scott Huff: Not retained by Seahawks, replaced by John Benton on February 3
Quarterbacks coach Charles London: Hired by New York Jets on February 2
Offensive assistant/quality control coach Zak Hill: Hired by Boise State University as pass game coordinator on January 9
Offensive assistant Chuckie Keeton: Hired by New England Patriots on February 5.
Defense quality control coach Nick Perry: Hired by Arkansas as defensive backs coach on January 10
