The Pittsburgh Steelers are set up to have yet another big day on offense against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2.
The Seattle Seahawks are going to be a bit shorthanded on defense when they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2 of the regular season.
According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, the Seahawks ruled out starting rookie safety Nick Emmanwori and listed starting cornerback Devon Witherspoon as doubtful for their game against the Steelers.

Both players have missed practice all week since suffering injuries in their Week 1 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Emmanwori is dealing with an ankle injury while Witherspoon is nursing a knee injury, which he suffered late in the fourth quarter last week.
If Witherspoon joins Emmanwori on the sideline come Sunday, it will be a major loss to Seattleโs secondary and could set up a potentially big day for Pittsburgh on offense.
Witherspoon has been impressive since being selected with the No. 5 overall pick in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, recording 185 tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles, 25 passes defensed, one interception and one touchdown in 32 games.
Emmanwori, on the other hand, continued to flash his upside this preseason after racking up 244 tackles, 11 passes defensed, six interceptions and two touchdowns at South Carolina from 2022-24.
However, without either player, Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf may just have the revenge game many believe he will.
Metcalf impressed in his Steelers debut, reeling in four of his seven targets for a team-high 83 yards. He may just have an even bigger outing against the Seahawks.
