Bad news, folks.

In the second quarter of Saturday’s preseason matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers, the Seahawks had two players come together in a devastating collision. While attempting to field a punt on special teams, Jake Bobo and Tyler Hall collided into one another, causing both players to leave the game.

According to John Boyle of Seahawks.com, Bobo was able to exit the field on his own as he headed towards the locker room. Hall was seen limping on the field, needing assistance from trainers to get to the sidelines.

Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune posted this video on X, showing Bobo heading into the tunnel. As noted by Bell, head coach Mike Macdonald left the sideline to join his players and examine the severity of their injuries.

The punt return, incidentally, was ruled a muffed fair catch and a recovery by the Packers, who went into halftime with a 20-0 lead over the Seahawks.

We’ll have a separate article for any updates on the health of both men.
