Field Gulls
It had been more than a decade since the Seattle Seahawks played in the NFC Championship Game, but that changes Sunday when the Hawks host the Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field with a trip to Super Bowl LX on the line.
The two teams split the regular season series, with Los Angeles winning 21-19 in the Week 11 contest when Davante Adams played, but was limited by a strained oblique. Then, in Week 16, it was the Seahawks coming away with a thrilling 38-37 come from behind victory while Adams was out with a hamstring injury.
That means the matchup for the NFC Championship Game will be the first of the three matchups in which the Rams have a healthy Adams at their disposal, though, how much of a difference it will make remains to be seen.
While the Rams will have Adams, Seattle will be without fullback Robbie Ouzts, who is inactive with a neck injury.
