Field Gulls
The Seattle Seahawks’ first injury report for their Week 14 game with the Atlanta Falcons is long but a bit deceiving in terms of severity.
A fitting 13 players were listed for Wednesday’s practice as either limited, full, or a non-participant. Leonard Williams was the lone DNP, but he’s been given a veteran rest day. Ernest Jones and Jaxon Smith-Njigba were limited while considered resting players, whereas Drew Lock was limited due to a personal matter.
Of the three players designated for return to practice while on injured reserve, only Julian Love was a limited participant due to his hamstring injury. Dareke Young and Jarran Reed were both full-go, so perhaps we’ll see at least one of them activated off of IR later this week. Love, Young, and Reed have a 21-day window (starting with today’s practice) to come off IR or stay on it for the rest of the season.
Josh Jobe is noticeably not even on here, having cleared concussion protocol following Sunday’s win over the Minnesota Vikings. Anthony Bradford is also a full participant after dinging his elbow in the Vikes game.
Here’s the full injury report:
Not included here is DeMarcus Lawrence, who also didn’t practice but was just getting a rest day.
Everyone is back at it on Thursday, with game designations to come on Friday.
