Seahawks add rookie tackle to practice squad

The Seattle Seahawks began Monday by adding an offensive lineman to the practice squad roster.

Logan Brown, an undrafted rookie out of Kansas, was signed by the Seahawks after coming in for a tryout. Seattle had a vacant roster spot (in part, because Jacardia Wright is on practice squad IR), so no one was let go to make room for Brown.

The 24-year-old Brown began his college football playing days at Wisconsin, only to be dismissed by the team for reportedly striking a teammate. He hit the transfer portal and landed in Kansas, where he was All-Big XII Second-Team in 2024 as a right tackle. At Wisconsin he had experience at both tackle spots. Brown was on the Minnesota Vikings preseason roster and most recently the Cleveland Browns practice squad.

Seattle’s tackle depth on the 53-man roster is a little compromised due to the ankle injury suffered by reserve tackle Josh Jones, who was inactive for Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals.
