The Chicago Bears lost, again. I’m sure that’s a surprise to literally no one at this point, but after their eighth straight defeat, the heat is turning up on Ryan Poles.
We spoke to Robert Schmitz on the latest podcast and got his thoughts on a variety of topics including Caleb Williams, the next coach, and of course, Ryan Poles.
Robert thinks that while Poles is receiving some criticism, the one thing he always seems to get a pass on is his win-loss record and he wants to know why. Why do other GMs have to wear their win-loss record but for Poles, there’s always an excuse as to why it isn’t better?
We wish Robert well as he is retiring from content creation for the Chicago Bears and moving on to other endeavors but we had one last great conversation with him before he rides off into the sunset.
