SCB Mid-Season 2026 Three-Round Steelers Mock Draft
Steel City Blitz Steel City Blitz

The Pittsburgh Steelers remain a mystery heading into the tail end of the 2025 season. The big splash at the trade deadline…. Never happened. The need for a number two WR remains, and Roman Wilson has definitely not made his case in the opportunities he has been given. While the Steelers have done better than expected so far this season, at times they have looked downright terrible. The remaining schedule is brutal. So what better time then now to take a look ahead of what the future may hold?

With this far too early 2026 Mock Draft we will use the draft order as if it were held today. The main needs for the Steelers in my opinion are QB, WR, CB, and OG.

Round 1- Pick #20

LaNorris Sellers, QB, South Carolina

It is true that Sellers has struggled at times this season. He has taken some pretty bad sacks and missed some wide-open receivers. Not only do I not care; I view this as a positive thing for the Steelers. Had Sellers been on a powerhouse team surrounded by talent and blown it out of the water, the Steelers would have absolutely no shot of landing him. Sellers has elite athleticism, particularly for his size. He’s smart, and his teammates love him. I will take his somewhat raw in order to get a QB with some elite traits especially if they can do so without having to trade up. Can the Steelers develop a player like Sellers? That remains to be seen.

Round 2- Pick # 51

Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama

I’ve not been shy about praising Germie Bernard this season. He lines up everywhere- as a receiver, out of the backfield, returns kicks, and has even completed a couple passes. Bernard makes tough catches and has very reliable hands. He’s also a great route runner. Bernard may not be a burner, but he is everything the Steelers need in a #2 WR to compliment DK Metcalf.

Round 3- Pick #78

Chase Bisontis, OG, Texas A&M

It’s looking more and more like Isaac Seumalo will not be back with his recent string of injuries. This will obviously leave a void that will need to be filled, and Chase Bisontis will fit in nicely at left guard. Bisontis isn’t the biggest OG but has incredible athleticism. He is also very good in the run game. Bisontis has drawn comparisons to David DeCastro, although DeCastro was superior in pass protection as a prospect.

Round 3- Pick #85

Bray Hubbard, S, Alabama

Keon Sabb is the more heralded safety prospect at Alabama, but I would argue that Bray Hubbard has had a far better season. He has been all over the field for the Crimson Tide, and if not directly involved in the tackle you’ll find him in the frame on TV. Hubbard plays with a high motor and consistently gets to the ball. In high school, he was a duel-threat quarterback so his football IQ and...
