Happy Saturday, Seattle Seahawks fans! You voted, we’ve collected, and now let’s look at the results from this week’s Seahawks Reacts survey.
This week’s confidence poll is near perfection. You can’t get much higher than 99 percent when surveying fans who believe the Seahawks are heading in the right direction as a franchise.
In fact, no fanbase across all of the SB Nation NFL sites has higher confidence in their team than the Seahawks. Meanwhile, rock bottom are the Cincinnati Bengals at 3%. I wonder what recent performances and high-profile injury could’ve sparked such pessimism.
The hope is that the 3-1 Seahawks can keep the good times rolling against the 3-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Seattle has had wins of 14, 31, and 3 through this winning streak. They are narrow home favorites against Baker Mayfield’s crew, and while most surveyed Seahawks fans anticipate another win, it’ll be a close one.
Lastly, was the 3-1 record what you expected from the Seahawks? Evidently, the answer is yes for most of you, but many also didn’t expect to exit September with a winning record.
Winning any of the next three games will put the Seahawks above .500 through the bye week, but that ain’t the goal. Getting back to the playoffs, preferably by winning the NFC West, is the big goal for this season, and it’d be a major statement to the league if they can be 6-1 or 5-2 heading into November.
