The Seattle Seahawks got their first win of the 2025 season last week with help from their running game. The main question in this week’s poll was centered on which of Kenneth Walker III or Zach Charbonnet would rush for 100 yards against the New Orleans Saints. Or maybe both would hit the mark? Neither of them?
Well, not to take the wind out of the sails for this question, but we can probably disregard half of the poll now that Charbonnet is doubtful to suit up against the Saints. Still, K9 was the top choice to reach the century mark with 52% of the total. The second choice of “neither” at 26% is also in play.
Fans are seemingly riding high after last week’s victory with fan confidence at a staggering 92%, way up from 61% the previous week!
A road win across the country in an early kickoff time slot will do that. The Saints are coming to town, and they’re no pushover considering Seattle’s struggles playing in front of the 12s. Injuries are piling up in the secondary, so it will be up to the defensive line to shut down the New Orleans offense and leave it to Sam Darnold’s crew to hold up their end of the bargain.
That seems to be just fine for Seahawks fans as 97% expect a victory over the Saints, with a comfortable 9+ point win being the top choice at 60% of voters.
I’m sure Mike Macdonald is preaching to not take New Orleans lightly given how they’ve been competitive in their first two games, albeit losses. The Saints still have plenty of talent including Alvin Kamara who has been a pain in the behind for the Seahawks in the past.
Now would be a great time to start a home winning streak!
