There is no clear favorite amongst fans on who will win between the Chiefs and Eagles.

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Each week we ask questions of the most plugged-in NFL fans and fans across the country.

The Seattle Seahawks may not be playing in the big game, but that doesn’t mean that Seahawks fans cannot get in on the fun of Super Bowl Sunday. FanDuel Sportsbook has a plethora of bets that Seahawks fans can place to make the Philadelphia Eagles-Kansas City Chiefs match-up a little more interesting.

On this week’s SB Nation fan reaction polls, we have some eye-opening results over how fans think the Super Bowl will end up. The Super Bowl’s over/under total is 48.5 points. That boils down to each team averaging just a tad over 24 points each. That is a modest, albeit average total for each team to hit. Fans reacted to this by thinking the Eagles and Chiefs together will hit over 48.5 points, with 56% of fans voting for the over. In turn, 44% of fans think that defense will rule the day and voted for the under.

In addition to this, the Super Bowl’s spread is -1.5 points in favor of the Chiefs. This fan voting result is as close as it can get. 51% of fans think the Eagles will cover this spread, meaning that they will either defeat the Chiefs, or lose by only one point. In turn, 49% of fans think the Chiefs will cover the spread and defeat the Eagles by two or more points.

Lastly, fans reacted to who they think will win Super Bowl MVP. Just like the above poll result on who will cover the spread, the results are very close. Of the top six vote recipients, three are from the Eagles, and three are from the Chiefs. Saquon Barkley is the overwhelming favorite for the Eagles, earning 46% of the fan vote. Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes Is the overwhelming favorite for the Chiefs, earning 39% of the vote. The other four vote recipients added up only reach 13% of the vote. This poll if anything shows that most fans believe the only way for the Eagles to win is on the shoulders of their generational running back, Saquon Barkley. In turn, if the Chiefs were to win, it will very likely be their generational quarterbackPatrick Mahomes will earn his fourth Super Bowl MVP.
