Canal Street Chronicles
The 2025 New Orleans Saints season is over and while some teams are looking toward the playoffs, the Saints are already looking to build upon the momentum they had at the end of the season even finishing 6-11. In a rebuild year, they have started to build a pretty solid foundation with Kellen Moore, who seemed to find his franchise quarterback and potential offensive rookie of the year Tyler Shough in the 2nd round of last year’s draft and also in Brandon Staley, who completely turned the defense around this season led by a rejuvenated Chase Young, Demario Davis and Cam Jordan.
In this week’s reacts poll, we asked our readers how would you grade the Saints 2025 season and how confident you are that they are headed in the right direction?
51% of voters gave the Saints an average grade of C, which is understandable considering the 6-11 record.
However, 96% of voters said they are confident in the direction that the team is headed and after finishing the last month of the season 4-1, you could see that the Saints were finally finding their groove.
Next up, free agency and the NFL Draft, where the Saints will look to add some more pieces to the puzzle that is coming together nicely in New Orleans.
