SB Nation Reacts Results: A Big Bounceback for Jefferson?

SB Nation Reacts Results: A Big Bounceback for Jefferson?
Daily Norseman Daily Norseman

With a bit of a delay, we have the results of our most recent SB Nation Reacts poll about our Minnesota Vikings. And since we’ve already delayed things longer than we may have liked, let’s not do so anymore and get right to the results.

We asked you who you thought would lead the Vikings in touchdown catches in 2026 and gave you several options to choose from. When all of the votes were tallied, the name that came out on top was. . .well, the name that a lot of people probably expected.

Of those who responded to our poll, 42% said that they expect Justin Jefferson to lead the Vikings in touchdown receptions this coming season. He’s coming off a season where he only found the end zone twice, so you can bet he’s itching to correct that error in 2026. The second spot was quite highly contested, as new arrival Jauan Jennings picked up 26% of the vote and Jordan Addison checked in with 23%. T.J. Hockenson was a distant fourth place with just 6% of our vote, and there were 3% of you who felt that we apparently missed somebody among our options, and think that someone else will be leading the Vikings in touchdown catches.

Honestly, my vote went to Addison. I know that Jefferson is the obvious pick, and I can’t fault anyone for taking him. But when the Vikings get inside the 20-yard line, Jefferson draws so much attention that a lot of other receivers find themselves in a position to take advantage. We’ve seen Addison do just that in the past, as he had 19 touchdown catches in his first two seasons. Throw in the fact that Addison is now in the period of time where he’s playing for a big-time contract extension, and I think Three is going to be Free in the end zone quite a bit this coming season.

As always, thank you to everyone who participated in our SB Nation Reacts poll for this week. We’ll have another one of these up for you tomorrow, so keep your eyes open for it!
