Week 3 proved the cheaters never prospered, with our Steelers doing enough to win 21-14 vs the *Patriots. This week it is a homecoming of sorts for the Rooney family, whose ancestors emigrated from Northern Ireland in the 1840s.
This 6 pack of questions is here to get the conversation going, also let us know what you’re eating/drinking!
That win in New England, it’s grand, yeah? Which of these statements about the Week 3 win do you think is true:
The Vikings defense forced 5 turnovers and scored 2 touchdowns in their victory against the Burrowless Bungles. Do you think Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers need a four-leafed shamrock to score, or is our offense good enough to go toe-to-toe with Minnesota Defense?
Mike Tomlin must have kissed the Blarney Stone, as his gift of the gab has produced so many quotes they’ve become ”Tomlinisms”. What’s your favorite Tomlinism?
Have you ever been to Ireland? If so, what was your favorite experience/site/thing? If not, is there something in Ireland you’d want to see?
Famous Irish writers include: Bram Stoker (Dracula), James Joyce (Ulysses), and Oscar Wilde (The Picture of Dorian Gray). Who is your favorite author and some of their books/writings that you enjoy most?
Here’s a link to some Irish recipes. Let us know which Irish foods you’ve had or would like to try.
