Jada Barkley has the sweetest message for her Daddy ahead of the biggest game of his life.
Saquon Barkley’s daughter Jada has stolen the spotlight since the minute the running back got to Philly to sign his new contract. From singing the fight song, to asking her Dad if signing with the Eagles meant they were going to win now, Jada has been all-in on this new adventure.
It’s also been abundantly clear that their father-daughter relationship is incredibly special, and that Jada loves her Dad immeasurably — you don’t have to look much farther than their pre-game handshake and post-game hugs to see their bond. She took things up a notch heading into the biggest game of Saquon’s life, leaving what might be the absolute sweetest voicemail for her Dad via The Players Tribune.
I’ve listened to this voicemail more than a handful of times and have yet to make it through without bawling like a baby. This team is so special, and each and every one of those guys in the locker room deserves to celebrate all their hard work with a win on Sunday.
But, like Jada says, they’ll still be loved no matter what happens... but I too, also really, really, really hope they win.
