Saquon Barkley is still keeping the receipts.

After signing last season with the Philadelphia Eagles, Barkley didn’t have to look far for motivation. The former Giants star already had plenty of fuel after switching sides in the NFC East, one of the NFL’s fiercest divisions with deep rivalries.

His quiet free agency only led to him having a chip on his shoulder.

He revealed this week that he never heard a word from the Washington Commanders or the Dallas Cowboys.

“Never heard a word from the Commanders or Dallas,” Barkley revealed Saturday at a celebrity softball game. “That’s why it’s BTA [belt to ass] when I see them.”

Last year, Saquon Barkley set a new career high with 2,005 yards on 345 carries and added 13 touchdowns.

In Super Bowl LIX, Barkley ran for 57 yards to finish the year with 2,504 rushing yards, breaking Terrell Davis’ 26-year-old single-season record.

Saquon Barkley Hoping To Get His Team to Break Dreaded Streak

The Philadelphia Eagles are the reigning NFC East champs and will try to break a historic streak in 2025.

An NFC East team has not repeated as divisional champion since 2004. Yes, it was the Eagles.

There hasn’t been a repeat winner in the division since the Eagles won four straight division titles from 2001 through 2004.

Philadelphia is loaded heading into the 2025 season, and it starts with the reigning AP National Football League Offensive Player of the Year, Saquon Barkley.

The Eagles made the right move by bringing Barkley to town, and his strong feelings about the other teams in the division help prove that point even further.

They will need him if they want to win this division and set themselves up perfectly in the playoffs.
