Saquon Barkley has already made history before even taking a snap in the NFC Championship this weekend.
He’s already scared oddsmakers into raising his rushing total prop to a truly ridiculous number. At DraftKings Sportsbook, the over-under on Barkley’s rushing yards total against the Washington Commanders is holding steady at 130.5 yards.
That’s the highest total rushing yards ever listed by the sportsbook — and a mark the tailback has surpassed in eight games this season. Notably, Barkley rushed for 150 yards and 146 yards, respectively, in two previous matchups against the Commanders this season.
Last week in the NFC Divisional Round, Barkley ran for 205 yards in a snowy win over the Los Angeles Rams.

Of course, past performance is never an indication of future success when it comes to betting. As much fun as some trends are, they can’t predict what will happen next.
What this line does tell us, however, is that Barkley’s rushing totals have been far too easy to predict this season. So the oddsmakers had to step things up a bit.
While it’s not hard to imagine Barkley going off for 130-plus yards again, don’t forget he also failed to eclipse 130 yards in 10 games combined between the 2024 regular season and playoffs — that includes a wild card victory against the Packers in which he rushed 25 times for 119 yards.
The opportunity will be there for Barkley to put up another massive performance as long as he can stay on the field. That’s about all we can say for certain. As for whether or not he will go off, Vegas has it as a coinflip.
