It’s been a long time since the New York Giants were a Super Bowl-caliber team.
The Philadelphia Eagles, on the other hand, had been knocking on the door for the past couple of years.
That’s why adding Saquon Barkley to the mix was such a big deal for Howie Roseman.
Notably, the Penn State product didn’t take long to experience what it felt like to be on top of the world.
Barkley topped 2,500 rushing yards for the season, putting the offense on his shoulders en route to a Super Bowl win.
When asked about that, the former Giant admitted that it felt much better to do that in person than in Madden.

Eagles GM Howie Roseman has pulled some moves that most people wouldn’t be able to do in video games.
The Eagles have excelled at scouting and developing talent in the NFL Draft.
This has enabled them to assemble a relatively inexpensive team, allowing them to utilize most of their salary cap to sign high-profile players like Barkley or secure stars such as A.J. Brown and Jalen Hurts with very lucrative contract extensions.
Their defense should be good for years to come, and they have an absolutely massive unit of an offensive line.
The Eagles have done everything right to get to this point.
Now, for the first time in his career, Saquon Barkley can experience what it’s like to be part of a team with a plan and a future.
