Kansas City has conceded at least 145 rushing yards in four straight games, dating back to its matchup with the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Christmas Day. The Chiefs gave up a season-high 202 yards on the ground that day as both Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren had at least 70.
Making matters tougher for Kansas City is the fact that the Eagles also feature standout pass-catchers in A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert. Barkley has the advantage of playing within an offense that can keep opposing defenses honest.
Barkley’s odds to win Super Bowl MVP are set at +240, behind only Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (+105). Philadelphia signal-caller Jalen Hurts (+375), and Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce (+1500) and rookie receiver Xavier Worthy (+3000) follow Barkley in that category.
