Pro Football Rumors
After spending three months on the free agent market, Saints icon Cameron Jordan will re-sign with the team, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. The edge defender is finalizing a one-year, incentive-laden deal.
It appeared the arrow was pointing toward Jordan re-upping with the Saints when he booked a Tuesday meeting with the club. An agreement came together in short order, which will allow the career-long Saint to play his 16th season with the franchise. Already the Saints’ all-time leader in games played (243) and sacks (132), Jordan will build on those numbers during his age-37 campaign.
