The Saints will meet with Eagles OC Kellen Moore about their head coaching vacancy after the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

The New Orleans Saints are the only team in the NFL who does not currently have a head coach. They’ve interview a bunch of candidates, but haven’t yet hired anybody. However, they have seemingly found their preferred target: Philadelphia Eagles Offensive Coordinator, Kellen Moore.

The Saints recently flew to Philly to meet with Moore after the NFC Championship game, and now they plan on speaking to him again after they play in the Super Bowl in New Orleans on February 9th, per Tom Pelissero.

The news came just hours after there were some reports that Moore might have second thoughts about the job because of the Saints quarterback situation. This report though, seems to put those rumors to rest.

Moore has been an offensive coordinator for the Cowboys, Chargers and Eagles for the past six seasons. During that time, Moore has led four top-10 scoring offenses, including the No. 1 offense in 2021 with Dallas.

With guys like Aaron Glenn, Joe Brady, Kliff Kingsbury and Mike McCarthy opting out of the job, Moore seems like the best option available for the Saints, and getting a third interview with him is a great step in the right direction.
